W.I.P. Custom Agent Ravage (Evolution) - Part 2
Spent a long 4 hours redoing the legs for Ravage by filing off part of the silver vents to the thighs in order to fit the metal spacers (that'll resemble the holes in the cassette tape mode of Gen1 Ravage). Had to drill in holes into the thighs to fit the weapons for ravage in beast mode.

Was keen to move on to priming and painting this bot when I realized that the vents on the legs looked horrid after being halved. Had to sculpt some bits in to make up for the missing plastic which took up more time. The pic above doesn't show the modified thighs (was too tired to take further pics by then).

Went down to the local Target to purchase some paints and primer but they've taken em off the shelves. Sheesh. Thankfully I found some at a car accessories shop although I couldn't get all that I required.

This customization sure is fun but it sure is messy as well (I've made a big mess of the dining area). I can't wait to be done with this as it's been a long dream of mine to customize my own Transformer figure. The last "customization" of a Transformer I'd done was as a kid and that was of my favorite Gen1 Scorponok... oh, I remember that so well. Tried repainting Scorpy's chest piece and ended up with it being painted badly in red enamel paint and broken at the hinge. That traumatized me badly then and I vowed never to attempt another repaint... but of course as a kid, you can't help but wanna try again and in the process heaps of my other toys looked like crap in the end. LOL.

Well, we'll have to see how this one turns out...
