Shadow Panther D-7 (above left) is a variant released by Takara. It's basically a recolor of the Cheetor/Tigatron mold. This was my very first Takara variant that I got when I started collecting BW.
To the right is the beautiful Takara exclusive RAVAGE. This piece is just awesome. It's a remold of Transmetal Cheetor but done so tastefully that you won't notice. Ravage was in Season 3 of BW. He wasn't released by Hasbro but Botcon did use the mold to create a Transmetal Tigatron of sorts (scroll down to see a picture of MISB TM Tigatron in my previous Botcon post). I've got 2 Ravage pieces MISB which I'd traded heavily for with a Japanese TF collector many years back. 1 piece has been opened for picture taking as you can see. It's MI(S)B now but minty mint and never transformed. I'm willing to sell or trade this 1 piece so make me an offer if interested, ya?

Next, we've got MOSC Walmart exclusives... Tripedicus Agent (aka Ravage) and Rattrap (aka Walrat). They're all simply repaints of the Transmetals 2 Cheetor and TM Rattrap. Walrat's one of my favorites as it was the first trade I did with A. James from the U.S. waaaaay back then. I'd sent him a complete Action Master Soundwave and he sent me good ole Walrat. Thus began our many years of friendship and countless trades. You rawk, dude!

Ah, the BW playsets... we've the volcano playset and fountain playset as seen above. I haven't opened these guys as I'm a MISB nut. Heh. Volcano playset comes with Armordillo & Snapper (I've displayed the US versions of those 2 bots in front... Snapper's one of my favorite basic BW figure). Fountain playset comes with a green variant Spittor. I always like my frogs green.
Here we've got a MISB Takotank. This is one unique TF. The mold has not been used by Hasbro due to the fact that this huge octopus just looks cute methinks. I don't think it would have found a place in the US BW storyline. It fitted nicely in Takara's BWII tho. Anyway, this is one cool set as there's a cool white/blue variant Claw Jaw and that bot can actually ride a bike which fits into the huge octopus. This piece I found in an independent toy store in Singapore after much bot-hunting.
One of my favorites (I have so many!) are the Takara Cyborg Beasts. These are how the Transmetals should have turned out in my opinion. I love the molds and these guys have ALL been opened and taken out of their MISB prisons. Just had to do it! Ha. No regrets on that. Will post up pictures of them loose when I get the time.
